Our tour group.

View of Tel Aviv

Here we have a view of the wonderful and exciting city of Tel Aviv. This was the first stop when we arrived. Unbelievably beautiful, this picture does not do justice to the view.

Sculpture in Jaffa

This sculpture honors the twelve tribes of Israel.

The Cardo in Jerusalem

This is one of the streets running underground in the old part of the city of Jerusalem. It dates back to ancient Biblical times. This street runs through the heart of the city, hence the word "cardo", which comes from the Roman word for "heart."

Jerusalem City of Gold

A panoramic view of Jerusalem. In the center is the Dome Of The Rock.

The Sea Of Galilee

"And Yeshua, walking by the sea of Galilee, saw two brethren, Shimon called Peter, and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea: for they were fishers. And he saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men..."

The "Wailing Wall"

Thousands visit every year to meditate and pray -- for themselves and for the peace of Jerusalem.

Entrance to the Holocaust Museum

The Holocaust Museum

Sculpture entitled, "Portrait Of A Jew".

Under the Old City

Another view of the many ancient streets that run underground the old section of Jerusalem.

The Garden Of Gethsemane

"I am not alone, because the Father is with me. These things I have spoken unto you that in me you might have peace. In the world you shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world..."

The Garden Of Gethsemane

"And he went a little farther, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt..."

The Garden Tomb

"Thus it is written, and thus it behoved Messiah to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day: And that [t'shuva](repentance) and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem..."

The Menorah at the K'nesset

The Jerusalem Museum

The Jerusalem Musem may not be the largest; however, in my opinion, it is one of the most comprehensive museums I have ever visited. Art, archeology, and history from all major periods of Middle Eastern and Western civilization are on exhibit here. This is a detail photo of a bima from one of the several historic synagogues shipped from Europe and rebuilt for exhibit in Israel.

Taking A Dip

Swimming in the Dead Sea. In February, no less! (Brrr! too cold for me. I'd rather be taking the pictures)..

Visiting An Ancient Community

This is a small community of believers in Israel that lives and thrives the way the ancients of the Bible lived many centuries ago in order to educate visitors and give them a first-hand look of what life was like in Israel in Messiah's time.

Tiberias

A view of the beautiful coastal city of Tiberias in the morning. This picture was taken from the deck of a boat on the Sea Of Galilee.

The Golan Heights

The Whole Gang

That's Gershon our tour guide kneeling in the front. My husband, Rabbi Gabe is standing on the right in the navy jacket, and yeah, that's me on the camel, holding on for dear life (it's quite a drop on the other side of that wall and the camel was not in a good mood!).

Rabbi Gabe and his dear wife Esther (me!)

We plan to go again as soon as we can get another group together. Hope you'll join us next time!
